Nicholas Liou was born and raised in the state of California. As a child, he was inspired by his parents' small business, and he decided to pursue a business degree at UC Berkeley. Nicholas Liou worked with PwC for four years after graduation. Nicholas Liou worked in financial services tax for the first two years of his career.
These two years were crucial in helping him develop his business skills since they provided him with a solid accounting foundation. After that, Nicholas Liou worked for PwC's management consulting division in the mergers and acquisitions department. Using data-driven storytelling, he assisted clients in thinking through and completing complex cross-functional transactions. Nicholas Liou decided to pursue his MBA to transfer into the digital industry, where he plans to work as a strategic leader for global organizations, after a two-year stint in M&A.
